While in NYC, I came upon a brand new art installation of a giant yellow teddy bear.  You can read more about it here http://www.thebrooklynnomad.com/2011/04/yellow-teddy-bear-nyc/.  The bear must have just been installed because it was closely guarded at all times by an army of rentacops.  They ensured that the bear was safe  and that kids wouldn’t climb or pee on it.  They really made a difference.
