Reason #666 to love Chicago, Navy Pier fireworks.  As much as I appreciate how much Mayor Daley spends on making his city awesome, I really wish he’d spend it feeding the homeless.  I could really use a day where “I’m an interesting bum and don’t want any anything, but if you want to donate cause I spent 5 minutes having a ackward conversation with you” doesn’t ask me for money.  I would trade pretty explosions for food and shelter any day.
